COMPARED TO OTHER POOLS

The Heritage Pool™ comes out on top every time

Before purchasing your swimming pool, you need to know the facts about pool structures. Charleston is a very unique area to install pools because of our frequent ground tremors, unstable building soils and ground water issues. With the construction of one piece pools (concrete & fiberglass pools) they rely solely on the ground they are installed in which presents major issues in Charleston. Unlike other areas in the US where the soil conditions are hard, dry, stable and not interrupted with frequent ground movements you don’t run into the high risks and problems we encounter in Charleston. We knew there was a better way to build a swimming pool and is why our innovative unique Heritage Pool™ I-Beam Brace pool has been designed to help adapt to these Charleston issues. It is very important to research your pool before you buy it. Unfortunately, most pool issues take place years after the contractor has finished. Your pool is only as good as your builder. Your builder is only as good as the materials they use. Imagine putting a boat (one-piece structure) in a hole that has ground movement, unstable soil and water. These combinations of issues cause major impacts on pools without proper footings and braces. Buy a structure not a sales pitch.

(Latin – Let the buyer beware)

As you see below here are some pictures of pools in CHARLESTON, SC that lack the very important structural features to withstand Charleston’s environments. These pools are missing footings, braces, and even structural walls to support the pool.

SURVIVING THE 1000 YEAR FLOOD

Heritage Pools Swoosh

The Heritage Pool™ will not pop out of the ground like other pools can

Did you experience the 1000 year flood in South Carolina this year? One might believe that a 1,000-year flood occurs once every 1,000 years – it doesn’t. The reference is a statistical measure 1 in 1,000. It means that there is a 1 in 1,000 chance that such a rain event or flood will occur in any given year. Even though this amount of flooding isn’t common it showed us the issues that fiberglass and concrete pools have because they simply sit in the ground without any type of footing or bracing support. The Heritage Pool™ will not pop out of the ground like other pools cannot do. Why, you may ask? It is a simple and basic concept. A home you buy must sit on a foundation with proper supports. If your home has to abide by these rules a pool should be no different. Some sales personnel won’t tell the consumer about the major issues we face in the Lowcountry: frequent ground tremors, water table issues and high rains. All these issues factor in to causing a non-properly braced pool to move. Boats float why wouldn’t a pool?
