Service Field Supervisor

Heritage Pools LLC is looking for a Service Field Supervisor to lead our service team and manage pool diagnostics, repairs, and installations.

Job Overview

The Service Field Supervisor is responsible for training service technicians, overseeing repairs and installations, conducting evaluations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Position Details:

  • Location: Charleston, SC
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Training

  • Train and mentor service technicians to achieve Level 3 Service Technician status.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and retraining based on service challenges and customer feedback.
  • Facilitate manufacturer and vendor training opportunities to enhance technical skills.

Service Oversight & Quality Control

  • Review all dispatched work orders for accuracy and required parts.
  • Conduct field audits and identify areas for improvement in service quality.
  • Handle technician disciplinary actions when necessary.

Customer Relations & Problem Resolution

  • Communicate directly with customers to discuss repair and installation needs.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure outstanding service is delivered.
  • Prevent escalated customer complaints by resolving issues efficiently.

Operational Support & Evaluation

  • Perform all maintenance and service evaluations within the designated response time.
  • Document service findings with photos, detailed notes, and follow-up recommendations.
  • Lead daily service meetings to discuss work orders, challenges, and process improvements.

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and ensure proper fleet maintenance.
  • Oversee quarterly vehicle cleaning and inventory resets.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and fleet teams to resolve any ongoing vehicle issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in pool service, maintenance, or a related technical field preferred.

Certifications & Training

  • LSI/Orenda Water Chemistry Training (or willingness to complete).
  • Pentair University Training (or willingness to complete).

Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing pool equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
