Construction Coordinator

Job Overview

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for managing project schedules, obtaining permits, coordinating with crews and subcontractors, and ensuring customers stay updated throughout their pool construction journey. This role requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to project management.

  • Reports To: Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Scheduling:

  • Schedule internal crews and subcontractors for new pool construction projects.
  • Attend weekly construction meetings to confirm schedules and updates.
  • Coordinate pool deliveries, crane services, and inspections.
  • Work closely with home builders to integrate pool construction with new home projects.

Permitting & Administrative Tasks:

  • Apply for and manage all necessary permits for new pool builds.
  • Maintain and update permit tracking sheets with inspection dates and approvals.
  • Process project documents in Salesforce and ensure all records are complete.
  • Invoice homeowners at the proper job stages and track payments.

Customer Communication:

  • Provide weekly updates to homeowners on the status of their pool construction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and scheduling updates.
  • Notify service and maintenance teams when pools are ready for startup.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, scheduling, or construction administration preferred.

Skills & Physical Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
