Maintenance Field Supervisor

Heritage Pools LLC is seeking a Maintenance Field Supervisor to oversee field staff and ensure top-tier pool service across the Charleston area.

This role is instrumental in maintaining the highest service standards, ensuring pool technicians are well-trained, efficient, and supported.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Field Supervisor is responsible for managing field staff, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring pools meet high-quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to training and problem-solving.

Position Details:

  • Location: Charleston, SC
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Route & Service Oversight:

  • Address customer complaints and provide swift resolutions.
  • Conduct follow-ups, audits, and training sessions with technicians.
  • Ensure all pools in the assigned territory are cleaned and serviced properly.
  • Onboard new customers and oversee maintenance estimates.

Team Leadership & Training:

  • Perform daily check-ins with trainees and trainers.
  • Conduct weekly training seminars for pool cleaners.
  • Ensure truck and equipment inspections are completed weekly.
  • Audit technician test kits and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.

Operational & Departmental Coordination:

  • Perform pool evaluations and necessary repairs.
  • Upsell and recommend equipment improvements when needed.
  • Participate in daily meetings to review problem pools and service issues.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager, Service Manager, and Maintenance Coordinator to improve processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pool maintenance or service.
  • Knowledge of pool startups and 28-day maintenance cycles.
  • Service Tech Level I & II knowledge preferred.

Certifications & Training:

  • LSI/Orenda Water Chemistry Training (or willingness to complete).
  • Pentair University Training (or willingness to complete).

Skills & Physical Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
