Job Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all service, renovation, maintenance, and construction operations. This includes managing staff, implementing best practices, tracking key performance metrics, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and an ability to drive company-wide efficiency.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: Ownership Team

Key Responsibilities

Team & Performance Management:

  • Recruit, train, and oversee department managers and supervisors.
  • Set job expectations and monitor staff performance through evaluations and coaching.
  • Ensure all employees are meeting productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

Operational Oversight & Process Improvement:

  • Optimize workflows across all departments, including service, maintenance, renovations, and construction.
  • Develop and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee fleet management, including vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance.

Financial & Vendor Management:

  • Manage staff levels, wages, and contract labor to align with revenue goals.
  • Review and approve operational invoices, ensuring proper tracking and payment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and negotiate pricing, rebates, and service levels.

Customer Satisfaction & Issue Resolution:

  • Serve as the escalation point for customer concerns regarding service, quality, or site-related issues.
  • Implement strategies to improve the customer experience and prevent recurring service problems.
  • Work closely with leadership to implement customer-focused policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in operations management, construction, or service-based industries preferred.

Skills & Physical Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple teams efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strategic planning abilities.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
