Warehouse Manager

As Charleston’s elite pool builder, we rely on efficient warehouse operations to support our construction, maintenance, and service departments. This is a critical role where you’ll oversee inventory systems, manage company assets, and ensure seamless coordination across departments to maintain our high standards of excellence.

Job Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing, allocating, and maintaining control systems to protect and secure all organizational assets. This includes inventory, parts, vehicles, tools, and materials. You’ll work closely with other departments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while upholding company policies and standards.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

    • Order, track, label, and store items with precision.
    • Verify product pricing and source purchases from the best-value vendors.
    • Oversee RGAs (Return Goods Authorizations) and ensure proper credits/refunds.
    • Maintain stock levels for regularly used items based on usage and lead times.
    • Conduct cycle counts and oversee the accuracy of inventory records in Salesforce.

Logistics Coordination:

      • Stage orders for construction, maintenance, renovations, and service.
      • Track orders for pool construction and work with teams to meet deadlines.
      • Source and manage back-ordered products, ensuring timely delivery.

Fleet and Facility Management:

    • Schedule repairs, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake maintenance for company vehicles.
    • Monitor fleet usage via GPS, tracking movements, speed, and unauthorized activity.
    • Maintain company grounds and ensure a clean, safe, and secure work environment.

Leadership and Oversight:

    • Manage the Warehouse Assistant in receiving, restocking, and staging inventory.
    • Approve tool purchases and supplies needed by all departments.
    • Ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes for warranty items and deliveries.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Associate degree or 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Experience:

    • Proven track record in managing inventory for construction or technical products.
    • Experience in fast-paced warehouse operations with attention to detail.
    • Prior leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors.

Skills:

    • Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in computer systems, including inventory software like Salesforce.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a team-oriented approach.

Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
